So I was a bit upset about the change in plans for this weekend and I decided that I would go attempt to write up a tutorial for the floaty music notes.

The problem I ran across with this tutorial is that a lot of members here may not know up or down inside the programs :(

But here is the link for those that wanted it:

http://abstracthalocreations.blogspot.com/2010/12/music-notes-tutorial.html

I specifically wrote it on my blog because a few people in my yahoo group were curious as well. So I figured it would be better suited there. It's fairly simple for anyone that works with PSP/AS often. But for someone to just get the program and open it up...You'd be lost. xD

It's honestly a lot of copy and paste and changing blend modes. The hard part (the music notes) I did. That part isn't done in AS or PSP. It's done in Particle Illusion. Which is nifty and awesome. And I wish I could nerd out with someone else here about it. :(

Maybe someone on the site will get some use outta the tutorial. Maybe not. *shrug* Who knows. It's there for the curious.

In a sick twisted way, what I posted recently taught me a small lesson about how this site still is. How human nature is.

I pour my heart out here day in and day out about my life and the things I do. I post awesome entries with cool pictures with floaty music notes and stuff. I drop random brain droppings here and there.

And I see the same people over and over that read my journal.

I post one thing, stating that I'm curious about a little experiment that a member is running here. And holy bejeebus I get people that I never see in my journal...reading it. O.O

Now, I'm not complaining about who reads my journal on a regular basis and who read it after that entry. Seriously, everyone reads whatever they want for whatever reason. I do it too. I read journals that I normally wouldn't at times.

I'm pointing out that humans are drawn to drama. I do it. Others do it. Normal day to day mundane crap isn't interesting. Someone bitching and getting upset, now that is some fun shit to watch.

What is right and what is wrong about this experiment is what we need to sit back and understand.

The wrong. How members are reacting. My friend posted this on facebook earlier today. He isn't on VR (he actually plays Dofus with me) but it's true. "It's sometimes hard for people to remember, but over the Internet on the other side of the wires there is a person. A person who has thoughts and feelings too..."

What you say here, may affect someone someplace else. How you treat someone reflects how you are as a person in real life. Just because this is "online" and you may never meet them, doesn't mean you can treat them like utter shit. Numbers on a website do not make you a better person. How you present yourself is what does.

I still don't know who is behind it. I don't care if I ever know honestly. I have found it to be fun to watch simply because I'm human and I like a good show every so often.

I guess I shall tramp off to bed soon. :D

I am guilty. :P

Your journal scares me though. Heh. XD

And I wrote something like the last part in another journal recently. People can be treated as robots, like the very machines we're using to communicate with each other.

There is a great article that incorporates a little of this thinking.

That's the problem.

People refuse to acknowledge that at the other end, someone is there with real emotions.

Now I'm curious.

Who is running this social experiment?

It's working.

I'm interested.

I have my thoughts. I wonder how close I am. :D

I do too; the replies I've seen have tipped me off pretty heavily.

I'm purposely pushed being obnoxious because I wanted to see the reaction so as to gauge just "who" it was.

You and I aren't that close here, but you and I, do much of the same..we recognize Styles in writing and coding.

Does that "hint" help?

I've narrowed it down to 3 people.

For me, it's curiosity. Which oddly is closely related to conspiracy.

But totally innocent curiosity. I find the entire thing entertaining and hilarious. Plus, gives me something to do because I can't sleep.

My new stamp :D

It's pretty much the same as my header of my blog. Except my dumb butt forgot to save the psd of my blog header, so I had to wing remaking it...and added an animation ;)

Photobucket

Art © Mark Wasyl (www.dropdeadsexy.net)

Scrapkit © Toxic Desirez

Animation made by myself in Particle Illusion.

Fonts used were Velvenda Cooler, Carpenter Script, and Oh La La.

I should write a tutorial how to make shit like this in Paintshop Pro. XD

Thinking I may redo my profile to match my blog.

But I can't do the cool three column thing I have going on there....

Decisions.

I think I'll keep what I have. XD

I like it. A lot.

Though I will redo my stamp. I wanna play with Particle Illusion some more. *giggles*

Oh! Blog show off!

I'll fix the columns later. Artisteer messed them up. >.>

I don't see the point of making your webcam topic say 18+.

You shouldn't be doing anything "adult" or you will get suspended if you are reported.

So...pointless.

Plus, people NOT logged into the site can view these cams. I can bet many people under 18 will look simply because it says 18+.

Just sayin....

All webcam shows should be PG-13 as this site is for people that are 13 and up.

Yes; aren't 18+ Sites the ones that charge a Fee for looking into a Show?

I'm just saying....; )

That would be correct. Or shows like that are done in private over msn/skype if you are doing it for someone special.

Not on a site where it's easily viewable by younger peeps.

I believe people just put up 18+ just to see how many people will come and view their cams. It's a sad attempt at getting attention by trying to present to a crowd that they are doing something "naughty".

Pretty pathetic if you ask me. ;)

So tonight while we were out shopping, I picked up some adorable Christmas cards. I wanted to make ones by hand, but the cost of printing them would suck and take too much of my time.

I noticed that a lot of people wanted multiple cards sent to a household.

O.O

I don't make much money, so I'm sending one card per household. It's nothing personal, but I don't really have cash to spend on cards/stamps and I still have to worry about getting my own personal contacts cards.

I should have thought this one through lol
